I've switched over to bartering recently for most of anything I can get without having to shell out cash. There are a couple sites out there to use, to connect with people who are looking to trade/swap items or even services (carpentry work for auto work, etc). One of the sites I use is Baarter.com - http://baarter.com

Bartering is becoming fashionable these days. My best recommendation to save money with trading is: http://barterquest.com. You can swap almost anything on this site: goods, service and real estate. BarterQuest offers a better chance of trades. It’s free and it’s fun!

wow this site is like a breathe of fresh air its unlike any website for bartering and sales ive ever seen, you must see this site, its awesome!!! they have music playing while you browse theyre ads, i would recommend this site 100%! and all ads are free. i seen a post someplace about them,. said this is our way to stimulate the economy.its a easy to use site and very nice to the eyes,i see a major growth in this site.they just need to get theyre site out . and once people see it they will use it i will say its much more appealing than craigslist ot any other bartering site ive seen i highly recommend these folks. thank you

When I am looking to promote my website building services

I use the barter sections of these bartering sites

I use a few well known ones but just found a brand new one

that says they are more of a biker and car lovers community

http://pumaandmarysbartering.com/barter

I added my website link on their website links pages

and in the hopes it will bring more business

no to say the bartering section of these type sites

have not been keeping me busy

But we all could use more business if that is what your looking for

I agree, trading and posting online can be very helpful. Especially if one has lost income this year like my household.

We have been doing this for about 2 years.

We use craigslist, but this new site is like cl on steroids.

I found this site about 2 weeks ago. I think its going to be great!

Its really new. however, wowwwwww, they have so much to offer.

I posted 3 times this week and each time it sold. my curb alert was picked up so it is getting some form of traffic.

Not sure how old it is or if they are even promoting it yet, but obviously posting works.

I am sure it will grow with what all it offers, so maybe you will try it too. I found it very user friendly.

Its Free & no registration hassles either.

it was called http://www.cooleasypost.com

I think it's grate having the ability to trade for my needs & or desires, It's how America began using trading posts, It's old frontier basic's revitalized. There's few jobs & no money flow because of corporate greed & over taxed politics paying high dollar office clowns with no real fabrics. Things have gotten out of control! It's the elected officials working for special interest & forgotten us. There's no consequences & the media controls who get's elected. Money controls the media. It's plain & simple who rule, The money rules. Bartering is a logical way of survival doing trade of goods, service's, & is more exceptionable to be compatible on fairness, It's not accommodating to those unwilling to hustle that now draw high pay sitting in comfort with a V.I.P title. We definitely need a new system. Yeah we still need currency, But we need better bargaining power.
