My opinion for NOT legalizing pot is they can still make more money incarcerating people for the petty crime. Jail is big business also. plus they are growing it themselves so it's just a matter of time before they figure out how much tax money they can make.

we had to have alcohol abolished and brought back, to be legal. The same thing is happening when it comes to pot. Just be patient and the time will come Smoke on peoples....

In my state it is illegal, I am in so much pain. The pills are killing me. My marriage is falling apart. Thinking of moving back where it is legal, save my marriage and have some joy in life.

if anything legalizing marijuana will gain him votes to keep him president for longer.. why is he the president today? because people that have not voted in the past such as people of African, Latino decent knew that the only way legalization of marijuana would be possible is if the white man was not in the presidential seat. all pot smokers united and came to the decision of change. prohibition of alcohol, to the legalization of alcohol, prohibition of marijuana, to searching for the right president to legalize marijuana in every state.

It is a simulation, but think about it.

I think that what you were saying about political suicide is exactly what is keeping Obama from legalization. The amount of money the US could make off it is astounding, and the fact that it is simply impossible to overdose makes it the perfect thing to legalize. I'm assuming... that Obama just doesn't want that hanging on his head while he runs for his second term, he would lose some of his precious votes. It doesn't look like Obama is gonna legalize cannabis within the next year or two, but maybe if he gets re-elected he'll do it. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

But still... LEGALIZE IT

It would be political suicide to support marijuana legalization. That is the reason. No politician wants to paint a huge glowing target on himself or herself if they want to get elected to their next term. It sucks but that's the way it is

Please, before you attempt to make an "intelligent" argument, learn to spell first. You look like a fool.
