Topless Coffee Shop Burns Down In Suspected Case Of Arson

June 4, 2009 RSS Feed Print

Perhaps the strangest small business I've ever blogged about is no more. Yesterday morning, the small-town Maine coffee shop that made headlines for its revealing staff burned to the ground, CNN reports.

Authorities say it was an act of arson. There was no business insurance to cash in on.  Was this the work of some crazed pyromaniac? Someone trying to make a political or moral statement? Both?

I think that a topless coffee shop that is open during the day is in bad taste for the community. A strip club, even though its basic goals are different, is open only at night and no children can attend.

The topless coffee shop even though I am not against it. I perplexed as to what I tell my children whom I occasionaly bring to the coffee shop to get a muffin.

Maybe they will put a roof on the coffee shop? A topless coffee shop will surely dilute the coffee during a rainy day.
