How to Set Up a Caregiving Agreement

Very useful thoughts. I have a husband who is disabled with congestive heart failure and COPD. His ejection fraction on his heart is 14% and his pulmonary function ranges inbetween 20-40 %. He also has degenerative arthritis so bad that there are days he has so much pain in his back it's all he can do to get up for me to help him to get to the bathroom for to use the bathroom and to take a bath. I take care of him 24/7 and he can't drive. Is there please some kind of way that I can get care giving assistance. I have Power of Attorney over him. He gets so little in SS it's pathetic. Please guide me in the right direction to be able to provide more for him-like a bath that is easy in and out and possibly a ramp for the rescue squad. I would dearly love to be able to have a porch so th can get out and enjoy being outside. He can not be operated on for any of his problems as any operation would kill him. I want my husband around for a long time and in order to do that I need some care giving assistance so I can make it more pleasant on him and let him enjoy what life he has left. Let me know what to do, please.
