Sounds good, how do I contact Norc in Slidell, Louisiana?

Is anyone aware of the number of recognized NORCs across the country? I know they were first recognized about 1983; has anyone tracked their growth?

My husband and I live in a NORC area. We retired to the area and found many activites and new friends to keep us very busy.

How does one go about starting a NORC program in their community? I have lived in my development for over 33 years and many individuals are much older now and can't get access to certain services for various reasons and I and a group of concerned cooperators would love to assist in any way we can, so please give me some guidelines and parameters that are required to head up this organization.

I work in a Norc 5 days a week and I can tell you, it is a wonderful program that works! As a social worker I have seen firsthand how much my clients appreciate all the services that are provided. I am only sorry this program is not available in more states. Now is the time to be looking at how we can introduce this program into more communities!

I looked at this and think it is a lot of bs. just a way of people trying to grab tax dollors for themselves without out giving any real information or doing any real work. shame on you.
