my husband and i took our social security benefits out of my earnings at 62 He never claimed his from his job..... can he now get his benefits....I am 8o and he is 81

If one is receiving SSI can one always collect Social Security at retirement age?

This is probably true, however it's a limited time frame and depends on clien't ages

, claiming and suspending only works at full retirement age, and penalties occur if the other client is not full retirement age, thus it only makes a lot of sense if married couples are very close in age,
