Where is my check; im waiting, waiting and waiting..i can't wait any longer...

Frank of NM 10:28AM June 13, 2010

It's February 2010 and I have not yet received my stimulus payment and wonder how many others have not. Social Security Office has no answers. Said the payment was deposited though my bank has no record. SSA said they would track it and then redeposit but that was in October 2009 and nobody seems to know anything. Is anyone else still waiting?

I was supposed to get my stimulus check before June 4, 2009. It is now October 26th, 2009 and still no $250.00 check and social security cannot tell me why I haven't received it.

Hey, the stimulus only gives you excitement over free money but it really does give relief because the money given only may account for a parcial payment of the bills of a parcial of a promise to pay . to not give seniors a 63 dollar increase is not fair because most of them can not afford the basic needs on the money have now and to save it is not always the key because for most there is nothing to save.every year items and cola goes up, but to increase the ssi or ssa retiremnet act is just a slap in the face. it sounds like you are just telling them to make due with what they have.

Send 500 dollars then maybe the squak will be lessened or maybe go away, for those who want to keep griping about it, maybe they are ungreatful,or do two more 250 dollar stimulus packages after this end of the year package for 2010 and maybe the money will start to make a difference for those who need to feel difference.

I read in an article in Yahoo that if you didn't get your SS stimulus check check by June 4 to call SS and find out why. The man I talked to then said he couldn't find any reason why I didn't receive it but it was too early to do anything about it. Today, 15 July I found another phone number listed in google for people who had not received their checks and the man I talked to told me the same thing, he couldn't find anything in my record as to why I didn't get it so he has put my name on a list to get my check. Moral of the story, the government screws up with regularity and you have to just keep after them and in the end you will get up with someone who actually knows something and how to fix it. Frustrating, yes but at least I am going to get my check which isn't going to buy me a house or a new car or let me travel around the world but I figure it is my money and the government has taken enough of it over my lifetime I sure am going to get back what I can.

Why so much griping? Must be those Republicans who voted W in twice and still have not a clue that his administration crippled the economy with two wars and its "I get mine and to hell with you" attitude. Give the new guys at least a year to try to alleviate this mess. Don't be so surly, help is on the way.Vote more democrats in and watch the rats on Wall St. scatter!

250 DOLLARS ?? WHUPDIDOO...THE CROOKED BANKS AND POLITICIANS GOT FAR MORE OF A STIMULUS PAYMENT AN ARE NOT IN JAIL... WHERE IS THE JUSTICE? I SUGGEST A 2500 DOLLAR STIMULUS BOOST FOR ALL

RICK of CA 5:07PM June 12, 2009

I did not receive a stimulus payment because I started receiving SS benefits February 1,2009. The stimulus bill was not signed into law until late February, but you had to have been receiving benefits in January or earlier. Since I was not employed after retiring, I did not get any of the $13/week tax savings that reportedly started showing up on people's paychecks about April 1. I guess anyone who started receiving benefits in February or March gets screwed.

I will write to my Congressman, but with little hope.
