Where can we send my 94 year old mom when we are on vacation? She lives with us and other family members have stairs in there homes which makes it hard for her to get around. We do not want someone to come in, we would prefer to send her somewhere temporarily with people her age.

We tried a volunteer service to come by and to call my mom while we were on vacation last year. My sister's mother-in-law used a service called Friendly Jingle. This ended up really working for us, beyond vacation. They're not free but they do call every single day w/o fail. They're a big hit with us - they call my mom, faithfully which means she doesn't need to call us as much while we're at work and we know someone is checking in on her. There are other services like this - they're invaluable.
