Muser of NM is one of those that think high-income taxpayers never pay enough. The last IRS numbers I saw show the top 5% of income earners paying 60% of the personal income taxes in this country. If you’re not in that group you must be a freeloader. The Roth Conversion actually gets these people to prepay taxes they could otherwise defer for many years, thus reducing near term deficits while the economy is struggling to recover.

is a governmental mistake. It's nothing but tax evasion for the shrewdest market traders. And they wonder why they have deficits. Gee. Provisions like this?
