Do you simple minded morons who call Obama a fascist have a clue what that means? Cheney was way closer to being a fascist than Obama. And BTW, if you are collecting Social Security, you are a socialist. Why didn't you save for your retirement like a true conservative would? Now this is most really terrible.We{all american citzen in the USA -all race-all ages }bailed out GM ,banks,etc .Yet Gov/Mayor/Sen /and God know who all gave them self raises .Yet who gets punshied senior citzen .Cost living freeze for 2yr.And all these bail out ceo still get millions and seniors citzens get this disrespect. Just because your health ins. is pd for life show some respect and start caring for the senior citzens.

Obama is a facist / Soacialist!!! He is a sorry good for nothing marxist!!! That $250.00 So called stimulist he gave us earier this year was a joke. All that money went to buying groceries. Those of us who live on a monthly disability check such as me a disab;ed veteran, a 1 percent or even a 2 percent raise in our COLA will be sufficient. In my case if I get a 1 percent increase in the COLA it would amount to over 20 dollars more for me a month plus it adds up about $351.00 over a years time. And if it is over 2% it will be double that, so don't tell us to be happy with whatever we get from Hussien Obama because evrerything he has done so far has destroyed our country and our fredoms!!! you stupid jerk!!! Your no better than those America hating jerkoffs such as yourself!!! People like you have no business in this forum!!!

That's the way it goes. There is no middle class in the USA, there are the (have's and the have not's). The rich and the poor, and Obama seems to think it is ok to drive the baby boomers into the ground to save the economy. All the veterans who served this country, and the social security retiree's/disabled need to live on less money to help the country pay for the war in Iraq, and Afganistan. So, it's fine not to give a cost of living raise to this group of people. Let them die! This is less the federal governmant has to deal with. What about we take care of our own people (Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard)! A bill of goods I bought into to defend this nation...well I guess it doesn't count because I am old, hurt and disabled from military service...now I just die because of my countries refusal to help it's people.

I can not make ends meet now as it is with the cost for gas & electric for the house doubled and no help for that because they say my income limits are too high, the water & sewer bill being $60 more than it used to be, food prices up, gas for the car to go to appointments so expensive, co-payments for doctor visits and prescriptions, the cost to have cable for phone service, internet & tv even if it is basic is expensive. Please explain to me how a person as myself is supposed to make it.

If the elderly and disabled get $250.00 in 2010 it would equal the same or more than a COL increase, Get off Obama´s back and thank him for taking this step to help us.

In order to survive and pay for food, lodging, medical, transportation, cloths, etc.
Social Security payment must be equal to Minimum wage pay same as a worker.
