Why can"t the Obama sitution pay everyone that does not income checks pay the seniors citizens more money.Don"t we count at anything are just throwed by th eroad side waiting for nothing.I make 711 a month to live an dthast is rent ,gfreoceries, drs.and precriptions, insurance aa nd soome medicine bill.I ahve 20 to last me a whhole month and when somerthing tears down the I am done until the next month and trying to make it is hard ..

absolutely ridiculous to think that the cost of living has not risen. Senior citizens have to eat just like the rest of the population. We also have to pay for higher gas prices, utility bills, etc.

I live on a very limited income and have to watch every penny. We need all the help we can get. If the government can throw millions at the insurance companies and banks, they can and should give us our $250 check.

I too only get 1128.00 a month from s.s. and would welcome the $250.00. As stated with no cost of living raise this year i have to go without my medicines. THere is no help out there for any assistance on my meds. by the time i pay my rent, gas and electric, water, sewage, groceries, some medicines I have 21.00 left for the month. I do not get a pension of any kind.

We the seniors getting under $30,000 a year certainly need that $250.00 stimulus check and need it badly ands it is not enough believe me every time you go to the store the prices have changed and believe me they haven't wen down but up and gas has risen 10 cents or more inthe last week or so.

You know, if they quit stealing from what is left over on Social Security every month, and put back the big surplus we had, we would be in good shape, those who dont get a raise on their Social Security, who just cant make a go of it, turn to the goverment for food and medecine and etc, so where are we saving money, quite giving are hard earning money away to other countrys that are against us, get with it America, do the right thing.

Most people on social security say that we dont need the 250.00, but take their pension away from them, then it would be a different story.

I am currently on social security disiability. I been recieving

disiability for the last ten years. I became disable at the age

of 44 years old. I hate the fact that I am not able to work. I

currently depends solely on my social security check. I cannot

collect my pension until 2020. My pension check will not be that

much because I had to leave the workforce at an early age. It is

very difficult living solely on social security and without a

yearly raise makes it even harder. The government giving seniors

and the disable 250.00 for 2010 will certainly help me out. I am

sure others might feel the same way. I hope the government will

focus on changing the formula for the Cola because seniors cannot

afford to be denied a yearly increase. This is certainly unfair

because the price of food, rent, medicine and other living items

increase.

I am one who gets UNDER $800.00 WHY? Because of the medical insurances that are taken out of my check. I started getting my scripts 90 day supply because it was cheaper then every month. After bills are paid guess how much money is left? UNDER $100.00 That's right. Under $100 to buy gas, food, clothes, personal hygiene items. Could those of you who are complaining that living on Social Security is ENOUGH money to live in do it? I don't SMOKE, DRINK, OR have any habits... In January, my prescription premium is going up... $25.00 So I will have LESS to live on Next year.
