Great article. If an older adult installs an elevator in their home, ensure there is an installed phone for emergency outages.....and frequently monitor that the phone is functioning.

I am excited to read about Universal Design after working in Assisted Living Communities for 8 years.

Now I host a weekly radio show called The Caregiver Hour in Tampa, FL and tomorrow's guest is Kim Albritton from Focus Design Services, where we will be discussing designing homes for seniors to have the option to Age In Place.

Thank you for this inspiring and innovative article on the present and future living options for seniors. It feels respectful.
