Seniors Should Find Right Doctor Mix Now

Hi folks,
I think the present US system is a real nightmare for poor people with no insurance. I wonder how you are supposed to plan for a retirement if you do not know what your medical bills will be. Even with insurance the dedutables seem terrible. I plan to retire in Germany where the health care system is amazing, they actually have too many doctors.

The shortage was already a concern. The "Boomer" generation reaching 65 is a large senior bubble that will require additional resources. True - adding more covered non-seniors adds to the shortage of doctors, but this was going to be a challenge - with or without the new bill.
I listened to a great interview of the person from the association of those who organize education for doctors on CSPAN yesterday, and he discussed the training challenges in detail. They will cover this, and we will not have a problem finding a doctor.
Not much sex appeal in geriatrics, so it looks like we will be treating illnesses more based on the type of complaint more than the age of the "complainer". Many doctors don't like working with patients who are primarily fading out....so if they have mixed ages in thier customer bases, this will be less depressing. Too many specialists anyway..
