""... Our problems will not explode in the streets, as is the case most recently with Greece."

If the politicians try to steal the Baby Boomer's Social Security that they have been paying taxes into for the last 30 years, to pay for Wall Street Bailouts and Obamacare, there will be mass social unrest, you can count on it.

As corporate America has done away with pensions all that would have to be done is just do away with the Social security tax cap and there would no longer be a problem. Example lets say anyone making more than 106,800 per year pays 1/2 percent soc security tax.Today if you earn more than 106,800 you pay no social security tax on it.Someone who makes 10 billion dollars per year pays the same total social security tax as someone who makes 106,800 per year. There is a high probability the reason that CEO made 10 billion would be because his company did away with pensions. We are a social society based on on the capitalist system and you cannot have it both ways. If people give there lives to a system or business it is part of the total American infrastructure and this system owes them a decent retirement. There is nothing wrong with social security other than the fact the superich wont fund it
