My favorite possession. I never really felt comfortable with a PC The ipad2 is just the best thing ever invented since TV. Better. I love mine. I could sell them, but they sell themselves. No one will be without their own tablet in the future. I just had to get one now, because I am 70 years old. Can't wait any more.

I don't see how the iPad is any different for this than other internet tablet devices. The devices on http://www.alternatives2ipad.com/ could easily do the same job. Plus, they can play YouTube videos for Grandma as well!

I understand tat you CAN add phone capability to the iphone. All you have to do is take the chip out of your phone and put it in the Ipad. I'm looking into it for my wife.
