Patients do have the right to possess their own personal health information...see the emergencymedicalfile.com

Safe and secure and very easy to use

Patients should have access to all their medical information. It is only fair, and you're right -it is a logical companion to the EHR. It's why we have designed our RememberItNow! PHR from the patient's perspective.

We also make it easy to set and send SMS, push or email medication and even reminders. And users can invite their friends, family or other members of their health team to participate in their care community to share reports, stats, and more.

I would love to hear your insight too, so feel free to email me at:

that providers who adopt EHRs and PHRs will shove papers at you for YOU TO SIGN IN ADVANCE stating that you "agree" to "hold them harmless" for the consequences any of them (the corporations) actually relying on records they create, that YOU accept all blame personally for whatever inaccuracies are in your "records", and that you "agree" to reimburse them for losses they may incur by providing extra care due to errors, no matter who (which CORPORATION) put the falsehoods in your file? Anybody outlawing this?
