You see there is many was to save and enjoy retirement and share the

The State taxes but The congress dose not press hard enough so my

country can become the 51 State so the people born on the island can return home with there full pension witch is SSI and Social Security can go back with that little hard earned money and live in peace due to the hard hit rescission.

The rent also is very grate on the island and it has full historical place to visit and hang out and enjoy life till it comes time for anyone to depart to that unknown place were life comes to an end. Look at this way Congress step up to the plate and grant Statehood to Puerto Rico it only takes the Presidents set of magical Pens to make dreams to become reality. ( Puerto Rico The 51st State) Let's make it happen together end Colonialism.

Prior to leaving office Bush supported a comprehensive immigration reform bill. It had reasonable support from both sides of the isle including Ted Kennedy and McCain. At the last minute at the end of the bill a section was added that required all new citizens become union members. This then doomed the bill. This same union government corruption is now playing out throughout the country and will doom the American way of life. It is beyond the immigration issue. The way it works is hundreds of billions of union funds are given to elect the progressive socialist leaders. These corrupted leaders then give billions back to the unions in grants or sweetheart deals. Just plain CORRUPTION. America wake up before it's too late!!

Really Rusty? You really think that "undocumented aliens are not eligible"? Take it one for step. They collect in the name of all their legitimate childen our constitution allows them to have.

Read their comments and see how they endorse a national police state existing behind militarized walls.

Is that the vision of America that anyone really wants? Everyone required to present their biometric ID card for anything and everything?

Have you all ever read 1984? Do you have an understanding of the Big Brother world you are creating for yourselves?

On one hand, you want "Big Government" out of your lives. On the other hand, you want to hand "Big Government" the means to monitor every last thing you do in your lives, whether it is driving from here to there, walking through this or that public building, your entire medical records, your financial records -- everything.

Sunshine Connie thinks that social services/welfare rates will plummet if only citizens live here. Big news for you Connie: undocumented aliens are not eligible, nor are they permitted to obtain, welfare benefits.

You do not 'heal the economy' by exporting 4-6% of all the consumers in the nation. You do not create growth by reducing the number of customers available. Everyone in the country pays taxes -- property taxes and sales taxes -- even renters, "illegal or not". And what are local services and school budgets derived from? Property taxes and sales taxes.

So much irrational, illogical foolishness around the whole thing. And underlying it all is a basis in non-factual = UNTRUE = information. Americans are behaving in very unpleasant ways.

Europe imported millions of low-skilled Third World immigrants, expecting them to pay for the pensions of their aging baby boomers.

Instead, the aging baby boomers have ended up paying for the welfare benefits of the low-skilled Third World immigrants. Instead of solving the problem, they've made it worse--10 times worse.

Third World immigrants cannot even begin to replace the tax base of retiring First World middle-class workers.

1. Fine and Deport every Illegal Alien.

2. Seal the Border with Mexico with a Fence and Armed Guards.

3. Issue a Bio-metric National Citizen Identity Card.

4. Legislate a Guest Worker Program: 4 month seasonal agricultural manual labor permits.

5. Legislate a Stiff Fine for Each Illegal Alien Hired.

6. Legislate a Foreign Worker Program to Facilitate the Recruitment of Engineers and Scientists.

7. Amend the Constitution to Eliminate Automatic Birth Right Citizenship.

The cost in benefits for all ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS far outweighs any benefit their unskilled work provides. SS, Housing, Food Assistance, Medicaid and Public Education to say nothing of incarceration costs. These expenses are a big part of our nations current debt levels. Seal the Borders, require E-Verify, CUT all Social Services and watch the self-deportation exodus. Citizens will have jobs and the Social Services/Welfare rates will plummet. Economy will heal.

Sunshine Connie of AZ 2:47PM February 14, 2011

What a crock. There are millions of unemployed Americans at all skill levels, particularly the low-skilled levels mentioned in the article with regard to people who provide in-home care.

The establishment will leave no stone unturned in its attempt to peddle its absurd desire to flood the United States with millions more poor people.

As to doctors and the like: If our medical care system is already way too expensive, how does importing a whole lot more doctors and other skilled medical professionals who will be expecting high salaries do anything to put a damper on our unsustainable death spiral of health care costs?

Lance Sjogren of OR 1:51PM February 14, 2011

I don't care what the employment rate goes to, if you are in this country illegally then get the hell out!! In my opinion, ANYONE who supports giving these scum bags citizenship is a TRAITOR and should be shot!! Come here legally and I will welcome you with open arms.....You people love these illegals so much leave the country with them!!

Ask Arizona how it's doing now. I have read that in some areas unemplyment has gone skywards fast due to the fact that producers/employers are moving out of the state or closing down as there is no one to work their fields or workplace. One farmer I know is moving his operations to Mexico from Arizona just to have the workers he needs
