I own a 2005 Gold CTS with a rag top, 6 -cylinder, large bucket seats, stereo, CD player, dual a/c all the bells and whistles...GOD...IT IS A DREAM CAR...I had the shield put on it...so no scratches..each tire cost $400 (vogue tires, now available at Discount Tire) rims are $500...this car looks like it's brand new..
After owning GTO's and other GM cars( older brother was an engineer from MIT with Pontiac, lived in Birmingham, Michigan) I wanted to continue driving a SAFE car...these doors have real steel in them...the body of this baby is real steel.. not pressed aluminum like the cheap little economy cars...I call them caskets.(unfortunately, in my line of work, I see alot of little caskets and the victims are always found dead) What is your life worth?
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT...this baby is meant for long highway driving and rides better than your favorite Lazyboy reclinder. When you reach your destination...10,000 or 100,000 miles away...YOU ARE NOT WORN OUT OF DRIVING.
DEFINE YOUR NEEDS...then look for a good used vehicle, low milage and have fun...

BRING BACK THE SATURN!!! i'VE OWNED FOUR , BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY. MANY GOOD FEATURES, GREAT ENGINE NO BELTS, GOOD MILAGE, GOOD LOOKING CAR! VERY COMFORTABLE WITH ADJUSTABLE/HEATED SEATS. GOOD VISABILITY, BIG TRUNK WITH FOLD-DOWN BACK SEATS FOR MORE ROOM.
EXCELANT SOUND SYSTEM WITH EASY CONTROLS ON WHEEL. LIKED THE NO MESSING AROUND WHEN BUYING, YOU CHECK THE BASE PRICE, SELECT YOUR OPTIONS PACKAGE ADD SOME TAX AND THAT'S IT.
I've had 13 cars over the years and my Cadillac was the only car that was better on the road. By the way I'm one of those seniors (82) your talking about.
