Have used elmiron since it came on the market and will probably will not be generic in my lifetime.

I was told by my pharmacist that the price of generic Diovan, Valsartin, will not go down until more companies start making it (Valsartin) and there is more competition.

I had the same experience. I was taking Diovanovan HCT in generic & my doctor switched me to plain Diovanovan & I was charged full price.

I had the same experience as Corrine Hurst. I paid the non-generic price for Diovan last Monday (February 25, 2013). Do questions get answered here? I notice that Corrine's question of 2/7/13 has not yet been answered. I guess that's my answer.

I was charged for Diovan yesterday as though it had not gone generic even though you show it has and my doctor said it had. Which is correct. The pharmacist told me only the Diovan HCT was generic. Corine Hurst

I was prescribed Diovan 11/14/12. My dr. said I could get the generic form. I went to Rite-Aid and was told it was not available generically. You list to be available Sept. 2012. When?
