Great article, but don't forget about donation!
If someone wants to be an organ/tissue donor for transplant or a whole body donor for medical research and education, that is something that should be included in the end-of-life planning process.
I actually work for Science Care, the nation's first accredited whole body donation program, and I can tell you that we personally hear from families every day who wished their loved ones had planned like Margie encourages.

I just ordered Margie Jenkin's DVD, book, and planner. After my 95 year-old mother died last year I began doing some reading on end-of-life issues and have been amazed that we do such a good job avoiding what is such an obviously good activity -- planning for our own death. One of our daughters has been asking us for several years to do just that. I think I'll agree to do so but only if she does the same.
