This is just plain wrong. How can we tell if any errors have been made? What are they doing about the time limit to correct errors - if we don't have a statement, we don't know about any possible errors, therefore, we can't contact them to fix any problems. We need a whole new government - period. How can the SSA just decide to not pay any attention to the law? What the hell???

It seems the online access to statements should have been in place before canceling the paper statements. Why can't those over 60 receive either the online or paper statement ...whichever would be more easier for them? And as others stated, why not let us know of these plans before putting them into effect?

I just spent six hours searching for my 2011 statement. Mine are normally mailed in November. I thought that I had misplaced it or worse, discarded it. Now I know why I can't find it. The bureaucrats didn't mail it and didn't bother to tell me that they wouldn't be mailing it. What a wonderful government we have!
