When unemployment is high and we're in a recession, our government needs to adjust public employees' salaries, etc., Accordingly, in order to avoid

bankruptcy.

If the government is taking in less taxes, its a "no-brainer" that government needs to adjust accordingly through salary reductions, etc.

This is exactly why public employees should Not be unionized. The union contracts are too rigid, unflexible and will not allow these adjustments, which

are absolutely necessary to avoid bankruptcy.
