Generic Drug Savings in 2012 Medicare Plans

I'm hoping Diovan HCT will drop dramatically in costs come September. It is eating my lunch and nothing on the market presently works for me. The generic reccommended by doc is lisonopril which does nothing for me. I don't understand the differences in these generic but there definitely must be some because two generics over the years have failed to curb my hypertension... Does anyone know if Diovan prices will drop in September as published in these medical articles?

I don't have health insurance and these medications are expensive. I use a free discount drug card that I get from Medicationcoupons.com. It saves me a considerable amount of money on my medications. I can use the card on generics too, so in essence I am saving even more.

Medicare is the most jack up stuff I have ever seen. My parents are suffering. With hardly any money to eat on. With only 6 dollors over the poverty level. They have to stand in lines to eat to pay 50 dollors a month for humana insurance. Now with co-pay coming up in 2012 they will have to pick between food or MD. THANKS.
