just another way the goverment manulates the cola raises for the lower paid social security people tie the cola raise to the price of oil on wall street instead of what we pay at the pump so they can claim no inflation what a joke let vote those crooks out of office now no raise for 3 years and when we get one it amount to 42.00 dollars a month when congress voted themselves in a 3000.00 dollar a month cola raise and then going to turn around and raise our insurance another 15.00 dollars a month so that leaves you with actualy a 27.00 dollar a month raise while congress still gets their insurance free paid for by the tax payer plus we the tax payers pay 9 million a year for congress to have a limo to go to work in and if the gas prices go up that means the 9 million dollar perk goes up america better wake up

Age:68, still working....but that's ok....I have not received an increase in my social security even though I worked in 2010...I know the increase is small but every penny counts....I wonder if I will receive a small increase for my work in 2011?????I call Social Security but they said in August that the increase would come in Sept....then in Sept they said that it would be in November...it's nowNov...and still no word.....anyone out there in the same boat.......this small increase is due because of working...not the cola increase.....wouldlike to hear from anyone
