My financial planner put me into a variable annunity. She, of course, did not call it that. I only found out after receiving something in the mail about it. To opt out it will cost me $3000. I am at a loss on what to do. Thank you. Marilyn

Oh, woe is the affuent rich. Their lot is so sad, their reality so fearful. Yeah, with all this "uncertainty, it's tough -- should they live well off their assets and leave the rest to their heirs -or- live well off their assets and leave the rest ot their heirs? If the tax hit goes up, what are they going to do, poor things, be driven to convert their property to black-tar heroin and shot it up their veins until they die? Its articles like this that make the 90% realize the rich may well be souless
