U.S. News's e-book, How to Live to 100, contains money, health and happiness keys to more enriching and, possibly, longer lives. Three of the book's experts recently got together and spoke about happiness. They focused on areas of people's lives where they can influence and control the happiness they receive from the people they spend time with and from their work, as well as the impact on happiness of the nation's growing acceptance of same-sex relationships.

Toni Antonucci is a professor of psychology and senior research scientist at the University of Michigan, Laura Carstensen is a professor of psychology and director of the Stanford Center on Longevity, and Debra Umberson is a professor of sociology at the University of Texas at Austin.
