The federal courts are out of control. The US locks up too many people and appears to think prison is the answer to everything. Who is served by long prison sentences, criminal records, etc. Why do so many Americans end up in prison? To further the career of the prosecutor. That is what all this is about with Mr. Snipes. The prosecutor has used Wesley Snipes as a stepping stone. Why would the prosecutor want his bail revoked immediately? All that is for the publicity. The federal prosecutors do not go after crimes. They go after people. The prosecutors go after anyone that will give them a lot of publicity. Anyone that is capable of getting the prosecutors lots of publicity they will use as a stepping stone for their career.

The current trend to lock up the doctors is a prime example.

The only thing the federal prosecutors are concerned with at all is their own career - who can they use as a stepping stone today?

Interesting story you got here. It would be great to read more about that matter. Thanks for giving that data.

i have to take the side of law. i believe in law as well as rules. however, i do object to the maximum sentence applied. i say, Wesley Snipes should pay the taxes and go back to work; i like his movies.

Wesley is an amazing character. His strengths will help him through these trials and tribulations.

What prison is he in?

WESLEY T. SNIPES IS A STRONG MAN. WOW, WHEN IS SOCIETY GOING TO STOP TRYING TO KEEP GOOD BLACK MEN DOWN? HE'S SMART, INTELLIGENT AND SOME PEOPLE JUST CAN'T STAND IT. YOU WANT TO SNATCH EVERYTHING FROM HIM. WHY DON'T YOU GO AFTER THE REAL CRIMINALS. LIKE WHO'S REALLY BEHIND THE FALL OF FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE MAC AND THE SHOTGUN WEDDING BETWEEN LYNCH AND BANK OF AMERICA? KEEP YOUR HEAD UP WESLEY, I'M WAITING FOR YOU TO COME HOME!

Wesley snipes was trying to avoid taxes thats a fact, if ordinary people actively try to avoid taxes they go to gaol so I think he deserves to be punished but will he serve hard time or soft time?, some years back here in the UK we had a famous and very rich jockey called Lester Piggot who was sentenced to I think the same three years for the same offence I think he only served about eighteen months but the time he served was soft time, he was given spacious accommodation with proper furniture a telephone all mod cons and he didn't have to eat prison food, that was brought in from outside or he could cook his own, real jusice it seems does not apply to the rich the famous or the priviliged here in the UK, we will have to wait and see what happens in the US.

No American Citizen is required to pay income tax. The tax code says compliance is voluntary.

The US Constitution defines how the government is allowed to govern us, the people of this nation. The federal income tax is NOT ALLOWED by the constitution. The ability of the IRS to enforce it is a violation of the 16th amendment.

Requiring citizens to file a 1040 (your tax return) is a violation of the 5th amendment, which states, "No person [...] shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself". Thus, requiring US citizens to file a 1040 is a violation of their 5th amendment right!!!

Wake up you idiots! Wesley is trying to show you how to stand up for yourselves against government authoritarian oppression! NONE of the money reaped from the income tax is used to pay for transportation systems, military, or education! NONE OF IT!!!

Stop being so f@$%*g stupid! LEARN YOUR RIGHTS, OR THE GOVERNMENT WILL TAKE THEM AWAY FROM YOU, AS HITLER DID TO THE JEWS. YOU DON'T THINK IT CAN HAPPEN HERE? IF SO, THEN YOU ARE A MORON. It is already happening. The bankers are controlling the media to make them avoid the civil liberties aspect of this case, and instead claim that Snipe's arguments are "weird". This is not journalism.

take the red pill:
