Now is the time to see the game and quit playing it. The talking heads on T.V. would have you think they are true analysts. Have you listened to some of these nuts? Vote these people out who voted yes. Call your Congressman and Senators and urge them to vote NO. Send an email out to your friends and family with their phone numbers. C'mon people we can get organized too! Nobody is going to fix this mess. We are Americans. Don't play the stupid game of Democrat vs. Republican. The media loves this game. The best place in the world to be is right down the middle. Be a moderate!

The sad part of this bailout is that our government officials did not vote the way the people demanded. This shows everyone who is running the countryand they don't care what you want they are smarter. I hope the special interest can vote these elected politicians back into office. I have the right to vote therefore I need to take action and vote against everyone who did not vote "NO"! Our government doesn't work Vote them all out! Research how they voted and forget the democrats and republican promises because they have us trillions in Debt. They are not doing the job. Vote them out! Do not believe you are wasting a vote. The media wants to continue the shell game because they are all millionaires and part of the problem! We must vote now and forget the promises watch how they voted on the issues. They continue to pass earmarks everyday. This bailout is an organized theft of the american people.

VOTE THE BUMS OUT!

We have been taught that money is the root of all evil, Here in this instance we see that the lack of money or the lack of having anything of value to base the value of our money on is the problem. Like curing an illness or just putting a bandaid on an external sore, we must decide what we are going to do as a nation. We must quit allowing others the opportunity of deciding the outcome of our health (physcial or financial). We the people have to take responsibility or what has happened and take charge or what to do to fix it. Why are we going to allow those whom have overseen the failure the chance to scheme the recovery?

This will not be easy to do and it will hurt us all, but we need to start our economy all over again and secure it to a foundationa that has value.

I know Ron Paul will never be president. He is too practical and right.Politicians dont want us to hear what is right. They dont want Ron to tell us either.I am sure he is very unpopular in many political circles because he knows most of what politicians say is bullshit.

I look around my neighborhood, and see the foreclosures, and wonder why anyone is wasting sympathy on the foreclosed.

Many took liars loans and lied about their incomes; they admit they couldn't pay for the house and that they planned to flip it when the interest rates went up; unfortunately, the market went down.

Others had more than one home that they applied for loans on; in each case they claimed they were living in all the houses although they were renting some out and planning to sell it went the interest rates went up. Quite a few were renting them out for just the lower teaser payment on the loan.

Others took loans that required no down payment and then took cash out of their houses; they spent the money on such necessities as large flat screen TVs, clothing, overseas vacations, and cars. When the interest went up, they couldn't afford to keep the house.

Why should those of us who were responsible suffer to let those who were irresponsible continue living a lifestyle that they can't afford? I drive an eight year old Jeep that I bought new and paid for in cash; my husband drives a sixteen year old Eagle Talon that he also bought new with cash. Why should we have to take from our savings to pay higher taxes to help the people who borrowed against their often non-existent equity to vacation in Europe? I've never been to Europe; I'd like to go but considering that the money I would have saved for that trip will now go to bailing out wastrels it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

We WILL survive... just NOT in very good condition. We ALWAYS survive. I just wish American's had more "kahoonas" like the original patriots did and stand up for our Constitution as they did. How can we expect our government to obey Constitutional law, if WE are the ones DEMANDING that they don't!!!

DCZE of UT 3:00PM April 23, 2008

Anybody think we can survive another 4 years without Ron Paul in office?

ABSOLUTELY NOT...

DCZE of UT 2:54PM April 23, 2008

Ron Paul is the only one actively assailing the $1B per week war on drugs and the $3B per week fiasco in Iraq. The other candidates understand the futility but are afraid of the backlash if they address it. We need a courageous Constitutionalist to defend the dollar, oppose artificial bailouts, suppress the erratic Fed, raise interest rates, and get this country back in shape.

I don't care whether Ron is Rep or Dem! He is a smart and reasonable politican, unlike those crowd of bank and real estate pack lobbists that pretend to take care of "struggled homeowners".

Only VERY naive person will belive Dood, Frank, Clinton, Obama, etc. concern about people! They are all are smart enough to understand that their bail out proposals are unfair and that they will not anybody, but banks, lenders and rel estate agents!

If they not smart enough to figure it out, they can read the report that Congress' think tank recently preparted. This report clearly shows that bailouts they have been pushing so hard will NOT resolve housing crisis!

There is noly one solution of that crisis: HOUSING PRICES MUST FALL TO AFFORDABILITY LEVEL! That's it!

When it happen, people will start buying houses again with good old 30 years mortgages and 20% downpayment.

What's wrong with affordable house prices, my dear "defenders of the working America"? Can Dodd, Frank, Obama and Hilary teel us why high oil prices are bad, but high housing prices that they all want to preserve are bad????
