Should the Mortgage company have the right to sell the house without giving the homeowner a reasonable chance to get some financing, I suppose in the USA that maybe the way, no ifs, buts, or maybes, Here in Canada the lenders (morgage companies) are obliged to negotiate with home owner, and provide some

leeway for the home owner to rearange the payments, extend the time lenght with an added interest for the delay. The morgage company cannot lose by being curtious and understanding that

people do fall into hard times, and it is to their advantage

to keep the owner stay put, If the owner is willing to renogtiate the payments, why not extend some compassion? It works in Canada.
