In the state of Maine it is legal. Besides its an innovatative , yet not new, approach to sell and get what your wanting...in this current market, why not? Gimmicks, or such words, make it seem phoney.

Hey folks, How 'bout a twist on this? Why not get hundreds, perhaps thousands of people to pitch in and help build a home with each contestant winning an essay?

Just think of the broad appeal of such a brilliant idea. Not to mention what it will do to bolster the sense of community all across this great nation.

We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cedar cabin built in 2007. Large park like level yard (1+ acre),with year around stream. We would like to start an essay contest. Does anyone know the legalities to this type of contest and how to get started? Thank you.
