Which Banks Have TARP Funds Lined Up?

I wonder if TARP fund should help homeowners who are on the verge of foreclosure. WF service the note on our loan which is around $150,000 more than what the current market value of the property. I wonder if we should just give up the house altogether with the balance of the total note on the house.??? Any advice is much appreciated.

Where are the financial detail data in open internet covering TARP and ARRA funds. Government or agency should publish the detail data in Microsoft Excel formats for the common citizens or taxpapers. They understand the info via spreadsheets. This will create transparency and prevent the corruptions in politics and financial transactions. Detail listing Data is the key to recover our economy. I would like to recommend the data format just like "www.USASpending.gov". Federal government has tools and resources. Publish TARP and ARRA in www.USAusaspending.gov.

What happened to the America that did what it took to survive? The government!!!! We now have to be so politically correct that it is sickening. The greatest country in the world (Yes I mean America) was developed by a bunch of renegades that did what it took to get things done, and I don't mean the illegal things that are going on in the big companies. I mean get down, get your hands dirty and work. We now have more freeloaders in our society than workers proven this election. IE- gee this is the greatest day of my life, I won't have to make my house payment, car payment, or pay for my gas. You might say: "this is just one lady"! Wrong!!!! I run into it time and again. Oh it is going to get easy now, or I can't wait til February when it will get easy! I have heard this time and again. It's time for Americans to get off their butts and work. We lost everything in the 90's (and I mean everything). As a family farmers we had 5 years of hail in a row and then a year of drought (be careful what you pray for). At the age of 50 and my wife 46 lost everything and I mean everything. It had nothing to do with Clinton (whom I do not like), the government or anyone. The Good Lord was just telling me not to farm anymore. You see He and I have this agreement, no hints cause I am not smart enough to pick up on it. If He wants something from me He has to slap me on the head and he did. In 2000 we started over in this used to be GREAT COUNTRY with nothing. Started a new career without college education and have now put together a nice little bunch of land and stuff paid for, without the help of anyone, not even Bush or the government. It wasn't easy, at one time for 2 weeks Jeannie and I ate corn bread, as that is all we had, but we survived. Been married 36 years this 24th of February.

Just let America Be America. As it says in the Bible, if you don't work you don't eat. I think that is a great idea. Yes there are some that can't work and need help. But as we were going through our broke times, we met and helped people (we did a lot of mission work for the church) that were healthier, younger and better off than we were and they were waiting for the handouts. That stunk. (sorry so long)

Such an attitude is probably very self-satisfying, but it's also very lazy thinking.

Those willing to let the government giveth, must also be willing to have the government taketh away. So start making those shoes nobody really wants to wear. Oh wait, get ready to wear them anyway, because that's the only shoe you can make. History repeats.

I recently lost my job in an industry that's going the way of the buggy whip -- newspapers. Its demise is partly because of the advances in technology, AND the industry's own poor decision not report news, but to be political advocates. I even got to the point of not bothering to read my own newspaper (just the grocery flyers).

And after my husband and I have put several children through college and have very few funds left, I move on and am planning on getting training in another field. It's not an easy thing to do, I am hoping the cost and sacrifice will pay off, but am grateful I am still able to do so.

I've NEVER sat in church thinking about how a political group is keeping me from from having something I'm entitled to. I hope I never do. But I'am starting to resent being told that because I want to keep the innovation and freedoms this country offers out of the corrupt government's hands, I am a lousy person.
