By taking care of his employees, Henry Ford showed the world how to get the maximum productivity out of a workforce. People who worked for him went to work wanting to work and repay him for what he did for them. He introduced innovative ideas such as finding jobs where the handicap could be employed instead of being given handouts. He gave everyone pride and people did not feel used. As the banks and stockholders began to demand more than their fair share, the unions were forced to form to protect the workers. The companies grew at odds with their workers on behalf of the greedy. This was the cause of the downfall.

Government is not supposed to try to manage business, but since they did and now that they have screwed things up, we owe it to ourselves to help out.

You need to understand the concept of herding if you want to survive this. The entire nation has been herded for decades, by the media and foreign car interests, into believing that the domestic automakers and the union are bad while they have worked their problems out. Now, while we are being herded around in circles, with the same shouts ringing in our years, we can no longer think for ourselves and the gates of the slaughterhouse are opening. We need to break out of the herd and get the facts if we want to survive.
