Barney Frank on 60 Minutes

I am disappointed in the interview with Barney Frank. It seemed more like a commercial/Biography than a hard hitting and informing 60 Minutes piece. I am 37 and I expect more from Lesley Stahl!!! Based upon the other comments posted, I wonder what you think of her work as well?

why is this woman fawning over this guy, does she not realize that he is to blame for the failure of fannie and freddie? "i think that fannie and freddie are on solid footing going forward"

SO, to call a group of people 'retarded', you use a made up slang word? Your IQ is shinning bright like a light bulb, in a box, not plugged in, and painted black (and possibly buried in peat moss).

His track record shows it all. He knows he did wrong and will not accept any credit in this current meltdown.

This guy is no where near as smart as you make him out to be, he doesn't understand that giving people with bad credit and low income is a recipe for disaster. Watch as these idiot democrats we're even defending this in 2004 when the housing bubble even obvious to the media - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs Gregory Meeks and Maxine Waters should be forced to resign as well for incompetence.

Why is Mr Frank not forced to resign his seat for recommending that Fannie/Freddie to 'roll the dice' on financing housing. I am sure he was not elected to gamble with taxpayer monies but to infact be a custodian of those monies.

Time to stop soft peddaling this man. String him up for his wrongs.
