Integrated Asset Services' most recent house price index--released Tuesday--showed home prices fell 3.5 percent in January, the sharpest single-month drop in more than two years.

Here's a look at how the ten richest counties in the nation have fared in the housing bust:

Somehow I thought it's CA...delusions...It's about being close to the government. Here, in Seattle we are as far away from it, as it could be. I wonder is it good?

wow! perhaps you need some history. Many of the founding fathers were of families that were the richest in the nation.

Leaving off the concept of greed, its nice to think of the people who make decisions, hopefully for the betterment of the country are smart enough to do well.

Would you WANT the daytime porch sitters, pony race boys or even the average joe in the next cube doing your thinking?
