A townhouse owned by New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is being threatened with foreclosure, The Dallas Morning News reports:

Nagin, who came to prominence during his stewardship of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, purchased a 1,711-square-foot townhouse in central Frisco in 2007…

But the Bella Casa Owners Association in Frisco now contends that Nagin owes more than $1,500 in association dues, according to county records. The group, which wields broad authority, has threatened to foreclose on the property unless the mayor pays up by April 7.
