It does not help the country to have people running cities or states like Clarence Ray Nagin. He has bulled the Asian community of New Orleans, made racist remarks against white people, and seems to be involved in shadey deals. The people around the country laugh at him and doesn't want to have anything to do with him. Mr. Nagin makes New Orleans look like the worst city to come visit. He plays on the ignorance and uses the race card to get his way. If you are lucky Clarence ray won't pay his dues and you can get rid of him.

America initially welcomed the mayor with an open heart. But (author Douglas Brinkley, "After the Deluge") his behavior on Air Force One, his proclamation of "Now this will be a chocolate city," his telling the Asian community not to return, saying he was building a park where their homes had been....now his most recent public embarrassment, all lead me to conclude that his constituents will re-elect him indefinitely, getting what they prayed for.
