Discussing the matter up front with your boss is good advice, and it sounds like the best approach to me. Apart from making things clear and letting both of you air your concerns, it also opens a path to discussion, rather than summary judgments, if a (real or perceived) problem should turn up later.

Yes, and even the people you say things about in your blog entries. I hope you'll accept the apology I posted (before I read this) for the tone of my taking you to task. I would not be proud to have my grandmother see that.
