Will This Résumé Tip Get You the Job?

It's a very bad idea because Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) "look" for your name where it should be. This method will cause your resume to go in the reject bin because the ATS software was unable to read and load your name values. Keep the name where it belongs and replace the Objective with this suggestion as that would be acceptable. I have a free white paper that explains this an other resume tips. I'm not going to try to sell you anything because we only work for employeers, but want to help out job seekers because it's good karma.

I saw this article in US News and World Report. Thought that it could help.

I am getting both positive and negative comments about this idea, interestingly. I really question the usefulness of the idea of a resume to begin with, but changing its elements is too much to ask. We all would love to think that our experience, accomplishments and employment history is enough to get us that interview. Not any more.

Most companies, perhaps unconsciously, hire on attitude...so, why not showcase a little attitude upfront.
