Hey! I'm not doing anything right now... I have blonde hair and blue eyes and a beauty regimen that lasts 2 minutes each day and I wear $1 Eucerin and a $4 lipstick that lasts all day and I cover the gray in 7 min. for about $6... so it would be about the issues... not my amazing "style". Honest.
I have breast cancer, so that would get the sympathy vote especially since I went with non-pharmaceutical driven treatment of surgery, chemo and radiation... and I am doing just fine!!!... and no one is making money off of me being sick.
I am lab I am a Pacifist so I won't help someone make money off of killing someone else either. My friends and collegues say that I am just too honest to be the President, so I could just hang out and small talk with Vice President Elect Joe Biden... like you know... talk intelligently about real issues that face women in the work place and of course I am a politician I suppose because I was appointed to office and never took any money for anything, raised kids that were not mine or abortions... and well... I have more travel experience and more scientific knowlege... than ANY of the candidates... and I was narried to an MP of the US Marines who had a bit of a pyschotic break like the current adminstration and remained a Pacifist and made the best of an impossible situation.
I am a heterosexual who believes that itis okay to be adult about ANYONE who wants to treat everyone else with love and respect if they are the same sex, short, tall, green, fat, skinny, white, blue, black or other.
I am happy 58YO blonde eyed, blue haired, slightly over weight grandma who's orthopedic shoes are made for walking and the US Marines of Wimper Fi were begging for forgiveness with just a "look"! You see... I was merely armed with the truth and the truth prevails. Always.
I've run dogs in the North West Territories and swam with pirhanas (sp?) in the Amazon jungle... I'm handy on a computer and can write MY OWN speeches...ask for directions... and apologize when wrong.
Hey, when you have the formula for Peace you really ought to flaunt it, don't you think?
I've been to Ethiopia to the Ark of the Covenant... and Thou Shalt Not Kill... well, I think it is still in that box!
If not the soap box, the ballot box... I think that that leaves that Ark (box).

It's well-known that USN&WR has a conservative bias...but this is among the weakest defenses I've ever seen in a professional publication. And I've never voted Democrat in all my 36 years of voting in Presidential elections.

The debate between Pailn and Biden is to be "moderated" by Gwen Ifill.
So what you ask?
Gwen Ifill has a book coming out on Jan 20, 2009 entitled "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama."
Oh, I am sure it will be a fair debait... It's only a simple matter of the "moderator" looking past the substantial financial interest she has in Obama winning.

We've HAD a leader that 'we'd like to have a beer with.' What did that get us? An endless, unnecessary war? Unrivaled deficits?
And yes, Obama is a lawyer...a CONSTITUTIONAL lawyer, you idiot. In case you haven't noticed, the constitution is drowning in an ocean of decay, thanks to our last "common man" leader we had.

1) Obama & Biden are both extremely far-left liberals, while McCain & Palin are a moderate + far-right conservative mix = a little closer to the middle rather than all the way to one side.
2) Obama is even less experienced than Palin, and he's running for the top office. You need more experience than he has even to get a job as a McDonald's Manager. At least Palin can say that she has experience running a city and a state.
3) Obama has done nothing but campaign for the past 2 years. We're paying him to be a senator but he has not voted on anything for the past 3 months. He didn't even vote on the recent Bailout plan, and then he had the gall to tell congress to "get it done!"
4) Obama was a freaking lawyer = leech. He's also been trained in "agitation". He knows exactly what to say to manipulate people's emotions to get what his party wants, whether it's wrong or right. Listen to his tone when he speaks - sounds like a lawyer.
5) People are always criticizing politicians for not being in touch with the "common man". When one comes along who is actually in touch with the common man, she is heavily criticized for not sounding pompous and polished, and for not knowing what a lawyer would know. When you get right down to it, she's being criticized for not sounding like a rich politician.

Plan on Sarah to appear looking like anything but her Tina Fey heckler. I expect, for instance, hair all down. Also plan on her giving 25 short Republican canned answers expressing their worldview---no matter what the questions are.
Joe, just answer the questions and hope Gwen does not allow Sarah to merely dodge.
