Turned the banking and insurance experts were, um, idiots. They assured everyone that they knew what they were doing, and mostly people shrugged and believed them.

I am sure, however that we can all rest knowing that the experts in the federal government, having assured us that they know exactly what they are doing...

Hey. The important thing is that we know what they are doing, and call them on it. Don't trash your newspapers quite yet.

I believe that if everyone would stop spending thier time watching TV and reading the newspaper and get to work we would all be better off! I'm a subscriber to the Wall Street Journal. For the last two weeks, I go out in the driveway, pick up the paper and walk it directly to my trash can.

Get to work! Stop whining. Are we in poor shape? Of course everyone knows that. But instead of standing around waiting for someone to do something for us, why don't we do something for ourselves? Why not give 100% at work when you are there? Come up with solutions instead of continued problems.

It amazes me that we are a free Country and yet we confine our selves to so many limits. What is that about?

Turn off the TV, stop reading the news, and be part of a solution instead of continuing to contribute to the situation!

Yes my dear friends. We are indeed headed for a very very...Great Depression indeed! America has been too long living high on the hog....living great off of it's own debt! Now thanks to the Bail-Out bill passed recently. We shall even be further in debt. My greatest fear though is this. Having to live amongest several million spoiled Americans who never once went hungry in thier whole life. How will the X-Box Generation survive not having thier Nike shoes and I Pods? There will be terror in the streets to be sure. At least in 1929 people still had morals and cared for one another. Today will be far different. In South Africa most people live behind barbed wire and 6 foot walls. Most homes have bars on the windows as well. I hate to say this. But if you want to invest in a stock today. Try putting your money on the companys that make bars for windows and build fences and barbed wire. You may just save yourself, and keep a much needed business in good health. One thing we all need to do is pray for this country and fast. Go before God and ask Him to forgive us for all we've done. Read I Chron 7:14 I also suggest that we not elect any Congressman who has voted for the bail out bill. The Republican and Democratic Rep and Senators who voted for this awful bill have just put a gun to Americas head and pulled the trigger! They should not be voted back in. If your Republican, or Dem...just don't vote on that one office. You don't have to vote for the other guy. Your not voting will send a much needed message I'm sure. I do feel we still need to decide on the Presidents office though. At least Palin didn't vote for this crap. I'm hoping she will help keep Mccain in line to some degree. I think America will soon be on it's financial knees. The whole World for that matter. Makes you want to read Revelations...doesn't it? Just don't read chapter 18. You may not like what you see and learn.

What basis do you have for giving economists any credibility whatsoever in predicting the future? Or do you think economic forecasts are so accurate as to be newsworthy? Have you really done your research on the numbers used for these figures, like GDP and inflation? Or are you simply regurgitating what comes out of the news wire, lest your career suffer for being labeled party pooper and writing what people do not want to read?

Me thinks ye has more looks than brains, Wohlgemuth! One out of two ain't bad.
