I am stating a school for shoe and leather work next year. I have been 35 years at it and still find it a joy to keep people in their favorite shoes or with their favorite bags. I hope to find my students all over the north east states. fred murphy of babes shoe repair

I would love to learn how to make shoes and boots! Only problem is at this time I care for my elderly parents and money is tight. I guess will play around with D.I.Y. shoemaking if I can learn anything from books and videos I am sure it couldn't hurt.

At the proposed $10 an hour--it's not too tempting. Are you sure about that figure. If they're so in demand--and I agree--then up the price. We need one where I live. He just died. The whole town loved him.
