The number of job vacancies advertised online dropped by 70,200 to 4,369,200 in November, the Conference Board reports. Advertised vacancies have declined by 264,000 this fall (starting in September).

Healthcare, office/administrative support, and the farming/fishing/forestry industry were the only fields to show an increase from last November. Also, "arts, design, entertainment, sports and media was virtually unchanged," according to the report.

The Conference Board measures new job postings on more than 1,200 job boards for national and niche markets.
