The Jobs We Lost in 2008

January 7, 2009 RSS Feed Print

It was difficult to keep track of job losses last year, other than to grasp their breadth and frequency. This interactive chart tracks the percent change by sector.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are responsible for the mortgage meltdown by forcing banks to lend to folks who had no prayer of paying their mortgages--their idea of "affordable housing."

Obama was the 2nd highest recipient all time of Fannie Mae political contributions though he was in the Senate only a couple of years. His buddy Franklin Raines ran Fannie Mae into the ground while pocketing $90 million for himself.

The unions are draining the blood out of Detroit with $2600 per vehicle produced going to retired workers who never touched the vehicle.

Yeah, give us more unions and more Democrats in Washington. They'll fix everything.
