In other words the goverment just gave our money again to the big conpanies that put us in this bad economic times. Now they are having a high time spending it.

THEY DONT CARE! Black mail it was and treasonuos. I think we should try to do without the big banks.

"Of, by and for the people"

Why are we fussing at us?

Did Pogo have it right when he said "we have seen the enemy, and it is us"?

Or did we go to sleep and let parties take control? There was no mention of party rule in the Constitution.

If the government wants people to get out there and spend money then the bailing out of big companies especially the ones that got greedy needs to cease. Getting money to the individual taxpayers is the only way to get the cash flow going again. And the money needs to truly go to the taxpayers and not be sucked up by tax debt or other debts. As it stands now nearly every American citizen is suffering. We are all having to choose between feeding our families and keeping the power on or pay a debt. Lay offs are taking their toll. Savings and unemployment assistance is running out. We can't pay our bills much less make other purchases if there is no money coming in.

Two problems that needs balancing. 1. The cost of living has continually gone UP, UP, UP, UP while workers salaries have barely crawled and in most cases salaries were cut or hours or both. Somehow, companies, employees, merchants and buyers need to get together and find a way to balance this. 2. The companies that sent and are still sending jobs overseas and shut down operations in the US need to wake up and bring those jobs back to the states.

And for all those bill collectors that don't seem to know, you can't get blood out of a turnip. If a debtor has no money coming in they can't pay their debts. Taking someone to court for money owed when they have no money coming in is a waste of the courts time. Threatening to take someones meager possessions, home and/or only means of transportation (used to get to a job or find a job) is down right cruel and heartless. Most people only incurred debt either trying to better themselves to get a higher paying job or felt secure enough in their job at the time and confident they would be able to pay back the debt.

All of us (from the richest to the poorest; from the most prestigious to the least important) need to dig down deep and find our love for America and our American pride and most important our fellow Americans before we find ourselves in the state of third world countries. Other countries used to look to us as a role model. Look at us now, it's getting harder to hold our heads high and to reach out our hand to help someone in need.

The one you wants to starts spending is not the ones that are reciving Goverment money. Give the taxpayers some money we will pay up our loans stay in our homes, thus keepping the housing market from losing even more value. Also it is a way to get the banks the money that is part of a bad loan, that will help banks and homeowner.Putting money in banks hands, and we are still not able to get a loan or loan modtification doesn't help the average American to began spending. This Government of the people, by the people, and for the people, seem to be targetting only the special instrest groups, the ones that already have wealth. These are the same ones that knows how to get around paying taxes. Now this is taxpayers' money, why not give it back to them, let them spend it, this is a method of jump stratting the economy.Money needs to flow, starting at the bottle, this money will work itself upward, these are the ones that needs the money now to pay bills. The ones that the Government is helping, are taking care of themself, their high level mangers and what they can uptain from the company just in case it goes under. It doesn't seem like you need to be very smart to know that the haves are not interested in bring the have-nots even close to their world, surly not into their world. They are not lending or modtifind loan with real help in mind, what they are looking for is a potential high return. We are crying for help. The banks and other big companies are not supplying such help.I believe the Government is looking for its people to starting spending, give us some to spend,or just pay the debt off and let us pay you back. The Government always have kepts good records on us, the average American citizen. We would not know the loop whole on getting around not paying it back,it will be looked at, as a fresh start, with a loan, from our Government, who does cares about its citizens.Try it this way don't let the Big companies be the middle man, you are tring to get relive out to your citizens, why dont you do just that, the middle-man has, an I needs to make money mentality at all times. They maynot be aware of the situation, having lots of money can do that to people.
