All of you senators should be ashamed of yourselves. You are messing with peoples lives, homes and stability. I can;t wait for many of you to have to wait for benifits and I mean Karma is a BItch.

Vote for the extension of unemployment benefits because its the right thing to do. Our government representatives are responsible for the economic chaos of this country, consequently the well being of the People should be a high priority. While the Senate screws around with the passing of extending unemployment benefits, they are Very Focused on introducing and passing a new Health Care Bill that will further the economic destruction of our economy, cost the Average American Taxpayer additional thousands of dollars each year, grow the government ever bigger, put your health care in the hands of bureaucrats, fund health care for illegal aliens, etc. Neither the House bill nor the Senate bill on Health Care effectively address the underlying problems with our current system of Health Care, rather they approach ALL current issues with the same fix: LET THE GOVERNMENT FIX AND CONTROL/OWN EVERYTHING; they exclusively look out for their own interest, while putting the best interests of We the People at the bottom of the priority list.

SHAMEFULL and ILLEGAL according to our Constitution!

I've read so much about the first time homebuyers credit being passed, utterly stupid when they have talked for over a month and a half on extending the unemployment benefits, big fat nothing yet.Congress is taking its time as with what they make no problem to them anyways.won't need first time homebuyers credit because those of us who have exhausted our benefits and have lost everything we won't qualify for anything as for most our credit is the pitts now.I've worked since I was 15 am now 51.Never had food stamps or federal help, now when I have tried just the run around there also.I have been unemployed since 2008,tried to get medicaid and food stamps for my child and myself, made me apply for unemployment,a major company screwed me over when they found out I would be out of work 3 months due to surgery on both hands that working for this company screwed them up.they fought but I won,but of course since I got unemp. I could not get medicaid or food stamps.unemployment has run out no need for food stamps since my daughter and I won't have a home in a few weeks.Although disabled by 2 doctors for over a year I get out here every day busting my butt to find a job, impossible in N.C right now.my disability won't keep me from working to support my child no matter how bad the pain. Can't get disability because i got unemp.America is totally screwed up,yeah I voted for Obama but I will never vote again, car companies and saving banks over the hurting americans.Pay raises for congress but not extensions for those of us ordinary people trying to support our families.months and months of debates in congress has caused millions of us to lose everything, children next as how can we keep a roof over their heads and food on the table while congress drags their feet,I blame Obama also for not making it a priority over first time homebuyers, and ect..Shame on all of you in washington,as we know your BIG paychecks continue...On behalf of my child this needs to be passed right now,I can and will do without food myself but not my child.Crime continues to rise drastically, desperate people doing desperate things for their families.America needs to help the Americans...No insurance,no money,no home, having to hit food banks which are running low,no power,no heat, how much more can we take.I've worked all my life gave my share of taxes and for months the talk of extensions, all talk no action, that's the new America!!!!!

What a shame that a third world country is living better than most hard working americans. What happened to family values, and the puritain values of hard work? Here Iam a person who has worked since the age of 9ys old, I have paid for the politician to sit on there fat ass and now they dont even care about what happens to millions of hard working Americans. It really doesnt matter who the politician is they all lie,yes we can't, yes we can't should be the motto.I think the founding fathers would roll over in there graves if they saw how America is being taken down the drain

Government has money to bailout banks, car industry, Pakistan, Afghan, …..but cannot afford to extend our benefits???? We all worked and paid tax, this is not a “Hand Out” we don’t want Public Aid, food Stamps, get us our jobs back or extend the damn benefit!

I worked 30 years, never got UB or any other help from state or fed, and if I had any other option I would have never applied for Unemployment, this little check is not enough to pay the rent and feed my kids! What every happened to campaign promises, “Change” “Hope” ????

What a selfish thing to say! The economy drops out and instead of reaching out a helping hand, everyone focuses on themselves first. People are losing their houses, living in shelters, starving, right in front of us and the stand that we are taking is to worry about how much money is going to help those people. Well, the fact of the matter is, if we don't help people, there is no spending and the economy continues to sink, and maybe it's your job next.

Lost my job, losing my house. Have worked for 40 years. Never used UB and now I have stooped to a new low. I will have to go get Federal Assistance - Welfare. I've always supported myself and now I cannot do it. I can't even get my SS for another 4 1/2 years. I feel helpless and my government just does not care, they have really let me down!!!!!!

if anyone out there thinks the economy is about to turn around

Brace Yourselves it's going to get a lot worse in the next year,

and if you don't think that people are being driven into poverty

on pourpose you really don't know your country that well.

Wake up people, everyone takes a piece of your pay check. And if they need more they just pass a bill and take more. When will this stop? IT WON'T

or will it ? www.pathtodebtfreeliving.com
