The recovery has been great-for some. You'd think that a government that put trillions of dollars into the pockets of people who didn't need it could come through with some crumbs for the rest of us.

What the hell took them so long!!! My benefits ran out weeks ago. How about creating some jobs? By the time the money gets here 2009 will be over.

Its about freaking time! It only took the senate one day to pass THEIR salary increases for the cost of living (miding you that they denied this for senoirs on social security) but it took them months bickering back and forth to come up with a comprimise for the unemployment extension. Meanwhile like the artice said 100's of thousands of people where losing their only sorce of income. American Democracy at its finest!

When will it hit the mail box. Now what has to happen. It takes gas money to look for A JOB?

We have been in our home for four years, our five years will be in July 2010. The 6500 tax credit should be for people in their homes for UP TO 5 years not AT LEAST 5 years. This is an unjust to a lot of people that have no jobs and can't afford to repurchase another home to get the 8000 tax credit.

Lets put the "SLOW SENATORS" all of whom appear to have plenty of belly fat on a couple of weeks diet of no food (no booze too) and see if it will help speed up their actions a little.
