Justice Justice will get justice Thats BS

I have worked at cc for 12 years the real issue is the people that just dont want to work at cc. If you cant stand it get out!!! Why would you stay at a job that you dont like. I know to steal money from the company by not doinng anything every day. You call it going to work! Let me tell you what your day is like I will stand over here the customer are over you know the deal. Just get out!!!!!!

Competition is good and I hate to see all of these store closings. The customeres are the losers and I feel sorry for the employees and their families during this time. No one wins with store closings!!

I am a manager at a Circuit City in Texas, been with the company since 1992. My 401K has gone from $80,000 a year ago to $1,000 I stupidly was convinced to sign up for the 100% CC stock option, because that would show how dedicated I was to the company's success. My same store sales are down 35% after Schoonover fired my best salespeople because they earned too much...What a jerk off company and guess I will be flipping burgers before this is over.

Most of the employees that work there are in High School, im not too worried about the people losing their jobs. Circuit city obviously doesnt either considering they cut their highest paying employees to save money. CC is a joke, there is a BBY right across the street from one where i live and any given day there are hundreds of customers in BBY, and a handful in CC. So who ever says that CC has "good" customer service, needs to open their eyes. Best Buy will always be the prevailing electronics retailer, and will crush anybody in their path..prime example, Circuit City FINALLY goes bankrupt. Oh, and Best Buy just monopolized the Consumer Electronics District, must be good being the "Best."

I sometimes question the education level of some people who read and watch news. They are people who shouldn't be allowed to do that, because they don't understand what the news is saying. Either that, or they take it way out of proportion.

First of all, people losing their jobs is never "Justice" and bad customer service can happen any place or time. It all is luck of the situation. If you go in at their busiest time and expect immediate help, when others were obviously there before you, then how is that fair. Or if you say they have bad business practices for not returning something you bought a year ago, I would fight it to be the exact opposite. The point of a business is to make a profit to pay its employees and shareholders. If they return something you broke and used for a year, then they won't be able to do that.

The downfall of CC is bad corporate plans, falling profits in electronics due to increased competition, and the poor economy. Everyone these days seems to think they should get a deal on whatever they buy. This makes it much harder to run a business where people used to just pay the sticker price if they wanted the item. Now, the same item for the same price at two places, and people find the need to go to one of those places and tell them to make a lower offer so they buy it from them, instead of their competition. I've never seen someone do that with a gallon of milk at the grocery store.

I wish those people luck that lost their job due to the store closing and that hopefully they find one and keep offering their excellent customer service, contrary to some people's beliefs.

How could you secure a 1.1 billion dollar line of credit without a very well supported plan of action. It's not like they went to the Federal Govt and asked for a hand out like AIG and the banks. They are the ones that were given money on a whim. Anyone with any sense knows they had to be given the money for a very good reason. They may or may not make it, but my money is on survival. Did anyone go through Emersons Chapter 11 filing? .40 cents to $4.00. It takes time, but is possible. They could go either way and in my eyes.New ticker on the OTC is CCTYQ and has been up 40% today alone. $5K in at .10 would be $7K at the moment. There will be alot of short term money made here as well as potential for a long term gain or loss. I hope to see a boost through Christmas or at least alot of volatility.

I have had bad customer service at circuit city and also some very very good service. Everyone has a bad day sometime or is put in a dept. they know little or nothing about.

I am sorry they are closing. I worked at Builders Square and we were sold off to a liquidator. We were offered great bonuses for staying. We had to sue the liquidator to get them but after 2 or 3 years, we won and got about 3/4 of what they offered us.

It is a shame to see so many good people losing their jobs. Think how you would feel, especially if you worked really hard and saw the business going down the tubes because of greedy and/or poor upper management. You can bet the top people will walk away with hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions. This while the people who worked their butts off struggling in this economy to live and survive let alone come out ahead.

My prayers are with all you losing your jobs and hope that things turn around and something big happens for this whole country.

Let's boycott ALL foreign goods. Get back to making EVERYTHING here in America like we used to. Let us make all the corporation owners and elected officials responsible for rebuilding ALL our factories. Within 5 years we could be back up, self supporting and again the richest country in the world, But greed is hard to win over. A grass roots boycott of all foreign goods will do wonders.

Good luck Circuit City workers!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you lost your job, I really am. I wish CC could have met the same fate without the human impact. You should direct your anger at the people who just let you down. It was not a "credit crunch" or online sales that killed CC, but the people that run the place. I have access to only public financials and I could tell they were going to borrow an unpayable loan or go under. I was off by a year of 2, but hey I don't make the big bucks.

I know that telling your employees the real story has a huge downside, but walking in one day and finding your job gone sucks!! I worked for CC in the 90's and still had friends there when they came to work to hear "Here is your severance pay, we are going to go to an hourly pay instead of commission and you make too much to stay"

I walked in one day to hear "Someone said you sexually harassed them, so SEE YA!!" I won't shed a tear!!

For those who are losing their jobs. My prayers

Perhaps you got, quote "the worst customer service i've (sic) ever experienced" because you are the worst customer ever. You are one nasty customer. I would be happy for your type to boycott my business.

First, I love Circuit City. I'm very sorry to hear people will be losing their jobs...especially at this time in our economy and so close to the holidays. I truly hope everything works out for them.

Second, the customer service their is awful! That is no disrepect to the employees, it's the companies training. I've actually stood and observed just for the heck of it and watched people get poor customer service in the store.

I don't believe the stores failure is due to any customer service issues and protesting. (Ben) It could be just the failing economy.

Oh, and I don't think any stores are cloing in my city...so yea!
