You stated that you were laid off & being a lawyer with 20 years experience, cannot find a job - after reading your poorly written, utterly stupid post I am not surprised.

The sheeple will believe anything that comes from the government, well folks, the change you voted for, you finally got it. Now although I too will be impacted like everyone, it is going to be somewhat gratifying to see you struggle.

As far as riots and civil disorder, I think we haven't seen but the mere tip of the iceburg. I believe there will be mobs in the streets, they WILL take what they need in order to survive. I believe you will see major black markets/or and underground economy grow, maybe larger than anything we have ever seen.

All hell will break loose, and very soon!!

"Only because I am a christian-catholic that i have not subcumed to class or related racial hatred . "

What a load of nonsense that is. You too good to cause any trouble because you're a Catholic? Give me a break. Do us all a favor and ask the pope to stop protecting all those child molesters you call priests.

a violent french revolution will come to this country, as more .desperate people will listen to any demagogue promising at least minimum .economic security. the price will be the death and destruction of "invented enemies" who will be blamed for this catastrophe. I got laid off over a year ago and I cannot get a job as a lawyer, although I got 20 years experience. Only because I am a christian-catholic that i have not subcumed to class or related racial hatred .

It is so easy to say greed got us here...but what really got us here were politicians who find it so very easy to spend other peoples money, including our children and grandchildren's money...The congress just told Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to go back to the bad lending policies that got us here, and The US Government will pay their losses...While banks were forced to make bad loans, and now are demagogued for having done it, the hacks in DC are starting the same game again.

The 2009 deficit, NOT the BUDGET, THE DEFICIT, is $475 each and every month for every person in the United States. That is NEW DEBT! There are three ways the government gets money...taxes, borrowing or just printing it. It creates zero wealth...wealth is created by people who work hard, take risks, and make a business grow.

The average income in the US for non-government employees is $41,000...the average Federal Employee makes $71,000...plus huge benefits...

The parasite is killing the host, as it always does.

We have a bunch in Washington that don't realize the private sector pays for everything and that Capitalism is self righting. To them Government is God. They need to start a government recession--- lose 50% of there work force and cut pay accross the board. Lower Our taxes and stop regulating our every move. The founding fathers pledged there lives fortune and honor to fight this. Now we need to step up and fight. Government is the Problem!!! Their regulations caused the bust and they tried to cover it with our $$.

Wait! I thought Obama, when speaking at the Cat plant, said that the stimulus package was going to SAVE jobs. This is what happens when a community organizer from the south side of Chicago is put in charged. Any of you white liberals that disagree with me, I challenge you to spend just one weekend in the community that he supposedly helped!! No, better yet,I will pay you to spend one weekend.

Go to the south side of Chi and see how Obama and White Liberals want the rest of America to live!!! It will sicken you!!!!!

Welcome to the new Socialist States of Amerika!!!!!

My point is that it's better to have "some" income coming in than none. I work in real estate so you don't have to tell me about the middle class losing their homes. We have been living outside our paychecks for too long and now the bills are due. To survive we will have to change our lifestyles. The fat cat bailouts should be in jail, but they aren't and continuing to be angry about that is not going to fix middle class America. Becoming more dependent upon the gov't is not the answer. A lot of us will have to give up things our parents worked a lifetime for. IMO we have gotten too much too soon and lost the value of ourselves along the way.

you wrote:

"If not, McDonald's and other fast food chains still hire reliable people who don't mind working"

the only problem is that they don't pay enough to make a house payment!!

what will happen when all of these families begin to lose their houses? will the govt give THEM a bailout? the fat cats who got the bailout aren't losing their homes!.
