Is R. Allen Stanford Really John Cleese?

February 17, 2009 RSS Feed Print

Robert Allen Stanford, the Houston financier accused of defrauding investors out of some $8 billion, is in hot water today as his dodgy financial dealings come to light.

My question is this: Is it too early to start casting?

Until last week, I had no idea what Mr. Stanford looked like, and I've never met John Cleese. So I can confidently say I have never seen the two in a room together. The mystery deepens!

Bonus: For more John Cleese content check the Cleese Blog or follow him on Twitter. For more on Stanford, wait for the indictments.

I thought it was a legit subject now that Allen Stanford will need to pay back those he may have alledgy stole from. Anwar seems a bit stupid to get lulled by such a funny fake title.

Anyway, I agree and have blogged about it here:

What kind of title is this?

The title makes it seem as if the story talks about these two being the same men

NO WONDER NOBODY USES THIS SITE
