Cramer Responds To Stewart, Critics

March 10, 2009 RSS Feed Print

Jon Stewart has been blasting CNBC and Jim Cramer in particular lately, and Cramer (who isn't shy about jumping into the conversation) is responding. Specifically, he's touting his call to get out of the market back in October (or, as he puts it, 35 percent ago).

His MSNBC appearance is here:

Plus: Cramer responds in his TheStreet.com column as well.

Get Cramer off CNBC - let him advise institutional investors if those guys are his main audience. Also Cramer - people like you are making America stupid and making our markets weak.

"In industry lingo, Cramer said, "your money is safe if you invest in the stock market by having an account with Bear Stearns."

Cramer did NOT say, "your money is safe if you invested in Bear Stearns Stock." "

First of all, your first statement is incorrect due to the fact that your money was not safe investing in the stock market NOR having an account, whether large or small, with Bear Sterns.

Second of all, industry lingo works one of two ways in the pirate infested waters of Wall Street. 1- by dumbing down the financial lingo to laments terms for the masses of people that do not understand typical jargon combined with bells, whistles, noisemakers, and whatever else Kramer pulls out of his arse (besides his head). or 2- to sidestep direct questions requiring direct answers by using technical jargon that is obviously over most peoples heads. These CNBC shows are designed for financial 'gurus' to have on in the background of their overprices office to show that they are always on the pulse of things and as it gives their clients a sense of understanding when they hear a word mentioned they understand.

Third of all political affiliation is always the whiny and dismissive answer people like you use in any situation where you are backed into a wall. Turn around and smash your head into previously stated wall, maybe you will knock some sense into yourself.
